White Sands National Park in New Mexico is head spinning for a visual artist. Every minute a unique image presents itself. I was lucky enough to have a weather front blow through, including rare raindrops while I was there, dramatically changing the sky and light reflecting into the white sand. From the brief but intense blowing sandstorm, to billowing white clouds and a truly magical golden hour, White Sands delivered. In addition, random park visitors served as subjects to give the vast landscapes some perspective —street photography on a grand scale. These images are now available as limited edition signed prints.

This is your opportunity to own an original E Smith image. Printed on beautiful archival Hahnemühle cold pressed paper, each photograph is hand signed and numbered. In order to insure exclusivity, editions do not exceed 20 prints. Standard paper sizes are 17"x22" or 13"x19". Larger custom sizes can also be be printed. All prints are unframed and will arrive safely protected in a cardboard tube.

Eric’s photographs have been exhibited by the National Geographic Society at the Conference of the Parties (COP22), the UN Climate Change Conference in Marrakech, Morocco and in their ongoing “View from Above” exhibition at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Most recently Eric was awarded first place in the exhibition “Thresholds 2024: Photography and Architecture" at the Los Angeles Center of Photography and was featured in the British Journal of Photography's “Decade of Change” exhibition at the Museum of Climate Change in Hong Kong. In 2016, Eric had a solo exhibition of photographs “Abstract/Earth” at Hermosa Design in Hermosa Beach, California and in 2007 had a solo exhibition “Progress + Light” at the Epoxybox Gallery in Venice, California.

Eric attended the Hartford Art School and is a summa cum laude graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, The Royal Photographic Society, and the Los Angeles Center of Photography. He lives in Hollywood.
